Namahagi Ventures is a private investment firm focused on creating excellent risk-adjusted returns for our investors. We concentrate our efforts in two areas: working capital financing and activist investing. We embrace rigorous analysis, a detailed operational focus, and innovative deal structures.
Here at NHV our focus is on matching the right opportunity with the right structure. Deal structures, particularly in market segments without a culture of commonality (the venture capital environment in Silicon Valley, for example, is highly structured) requires far more effort and ingenuity to create win-win deals for investors and the companies in which they invest.
Even with non-equity or non-controlling interests, we seek to provide insights for management to help ensure a successful outcome for the investment and the business as a whole. Through affiliated companies and trusted strategic partners, we can assist portfolio companies with management talent to concentrate effort on business problems.
